Trixieland

In the grand tradition of last year’s E3, I once again, on the eve of my departure, discovered that my debit card was missing. Last year I’d dropped it at a gas station. This year I left it at the restaurant where I had dinner Saturday night (after seeing Ratatouille – cute movie). Then I forgot to ask my mom or my brother to feed Elvis and Roxanne while I’m gone. Well turns out my bro’s on his way to Alabama for the week, and mom was off the grid. Couldn’t get her at home, couldn’t get her on her cell. It was after 10pm–where was that woman!? I swear this is payback for my errant teenage ways. I finally located her, and the mrowrs are squared away while I’m gone. Phew!

 

No, I haven’t packed yet. Another grand trix tradition is frantic last-minute throwing everything that appears clean into a suitcase until it won’t shut. And I am just perplexed as to what to wear to the MTV Rock Band party. I mean, I wanna look cute, but not like I’m trying too hard…ya feel me?
