The Devotion of Suspect XThe Devotion of Suspect X by Keigo Higashino
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I got an Advanced Reader copy from the good folks at GoodReads (and then felt really really guilty for waiting to read it). It was a great mystery story. The murder victim and the suspect have minimal roles in this novel. The action is intellectual thrust and parry between three men who went to the same university. One is a mathemetician, one a physicist, and one a police detective. This is the first Keigo Higashino novel translated into English. My fingers are crossed that The Devotion of Suspect X will be so successful that his backlog (he is well-known and respected in Japan) will be translated and made available to us.
