Will your gaming skills take you to Monza, Italy?

From a press release I got this morning:
The World Cyber Games U.S. program officially begins April 28. If you want to go pro, you’ve got to win here first. Open to all gamers – whether amateur or professional – online preliminary registration for the US is available on this site: http://us.worldcybergames.com
This year’s WCG official PC titles are: Counter-Strike 1.6, Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, FIFA 06, Starcraft: Brood War, Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Warhammer 40,000: Winter Assault.
Official Xbox 360 titles are: Dead or Alive 4 and Project Gotham Racing 3.
The winners of the U.S. National Final represent the country’s best gamers and will form Team USA and will be flown to the WCG Grand Finals in Monza, Italy (October 18 – 22) to defend its title of overall Grand Champion against 700 gamers from 70 countries around the world.

  1. If only they would add Disney Extreme Skate Adventure, my son would so own this competition.  Considering he is almost 3, I think he would have a strong shot.  🙂

  2. Disney Extreme Skate? What platform? My daughter who’s three plays Hawk, but really loves Disney. I’ll have to look into that.

  3. Only 2 Xbox 360 titles? No "GR:AW", "Burnout", "PDZ", "Battlefield", or any other title?

  4. GamertagHazumi:  Xbox (It is also on Cube or PS2).  It is really hard to find–they didn’t press many copies for the 360.  I found a new copy at a Game Crazy store but I had to call every game store out there.  Best bet:  Ebay.

  5. I found one tonight at GameStop. I actually put it on hold, because I needed my wife to get the discount. (She works at Barnes & Noble.)

  6. Oh, and i just realized that I mistyped earlier–They didn’t press many copies for the 360 because teh 360 didn’t exist when this game came out.  🙂  Meant to type Xbox…Oops.

  7. This looks like alot of fun looks like im going to need to brush up on my PGR and DOA skills..heheh
nah i doubt id ever have a chance those are to games that i am not good at.
