… I bought myself a Kindle. Happy (way early) birthday to me. And happy times for all the many trees worth of books I will be reading electronically instead of on paper. I will miss that new book smell though. And the old book smell is pretty great too. Hmmm you think Yankee Candle makes a "library" scent?

I agree with kiki. Just saw that about 30 minutes ago at Amazon, and it looks like the coolest freaking thing ever. The battery life/wifi makes me REALLY want it.
In a week or so, you’ll need to review it for us. I don’t trust those boys over there…
Sorry to be the asshole, though that’s kind of my role in this world. Trix, I work in printing. Recycling and recycled paper aside most people would break down in tears if they knew how much paper was wasted in this world. Not that we don’t recycle, and use as our standard house stock a good recycled sheet. It’s just really shocking how much waste there is.Luckily part of my job is ordering all the paper, so I used tons of other recycled stuff.
Actually, I’m curious to hear how it is… I know it’s mostly EVDO based stuff (compared to the Sony reader) but I also expect Amazon to have a whole lot more content…
And now the ongoing goal is to delete your bookmarks when your not looking 🙂
