Wow, what kind of freak wrote that last post? What the hell?
Yesterday a bunch of us went to check out the sights of Milan before heading over to the Autodromo. Yes, I am now blogging in reverse.
We took the subway to the Duomo. The square out front was amazing and filled with pigeons. I am afraid of pigeons because I don’t want them to poop on me and as it is thought that birds are descended from dinosaurs they make me think of big flocks of tiny Velociraptors begging and crapping.
The cathedral was very beautiful. It was interesting because the art was on canvas hung from the ceiling, instead of frescoed walls. There was also a bronzed archbishop. Yes, I mean they bronzed the dude and he’s in a glass case. Also, a statue of St. B–i forget, but his deal was that he was skinned! So the statue is him with all his musculature showing and his SKIN thrown over his soldier like a continental soldier. It was super sick. I couldn’t get a good pic of it, but my Italy BFF Jen got a good one I’ll try to steal.
Went to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which I mentioned in a pre-Italy post. We went to Prada (where Jen and the other Jen bought Prada clutches for only 150 euros!). I ogled the shoes but did not buy. We also went to Louis Vuitton. We scoped out a McCafe which is like McDonald’s with real food. Now you KNOW I’m a QP w/ Cheese and fries gir, but the grown up food looked pretty good.
Ate salami pizza (see pic) and people-watched. Did you know that Milan has thousands upon thousands of models? Well it does. The boys had a hard time eating their pizza. Strange fashion trend in Milan: Men wear business suits with down vests over them. It looks weird, but appears to be socially acceptable. Saw lots of hotties doing it.
Speaking of hotties; Oh MAN are Italian boys fun to look at. Just my type: Dark hair, dark eyes. Delightful. And I have two words for you: Italian Firemen. It don’t get no hotter.
Okay, I must locate some food. Going to gnaw off limbs.
