So sayeth the LA Times, who published a story today about GamerchiX! This is super cool for us. Huge thanks to reporter Alex Pham, who is a cool chick, a mom, and a kickass writer. We had a great time playing Bomberman the other night… and yes, she totally bombed the crap out of me (when I wasn’t blowing myself up)!
And if any of you live in LA and can lay hands on the print edition and send it to me, I will find some cool swag to send you!
Trixie, Call 1-800-252-9141That’s LA Times customer service. Tell them you were in an article and you just want to order a single paper from that day.Good luck!Kevin "kp1990" O’Connor
That is AWESOME! Congrats to the GamerchiX for getting an article in the LA Times! 🙂
Not that I haven’t heard it before, but seeing your actual name in writing is weird. Oh, and in case you didn’t notice there’s another KP who loves him some Trixie. There must be something about those two letters.
@ Feelz: My real name is weird for me too! I’ve become used to everyone calling me Trixie or Trix! @kp1990: thanks for the tip! My dad wants to get a dozen copies, so we’ll see what customer service makes of that! @Bill: thanks!!
Den mom? *giggle* *ahem*
Rawk! \m/
So cool! Once again, Congratulations!!! 🙂
Hey Trixie,I just wanted to stop by and say hi. I listen to you on the Major Nelson blogcast when you are on. And I wanted to check out your blog since I am linking to it on mine 🙂
Bye for now!
Congrats on a great article!
Hope you get your coipies!

I feel like we should be giggling and jumping up and down sorority girl style! Yeah for Xi Gamma Xi! 🙂
COOL BEANS on the article Trixie. It’s nice to see you get some recognition for your hard work. It’s also nice to see that the feminine side of gaming is as vital to the Platforms ans the 13-40 Male counterparts. However, that said, XBL Radio is up for a Halo3 challenge anytime.
Manifesta… lolz.
However "Microsoft is creating the Xbox version of the girl’s bathroom" might not have been the best analogy to make… 😉
I sure hope they are right in saying the online gaming world will become more civil, but I am a firm believer in John Gabriel’s theory…
And a lot of that is, indeed, probably my gender’s fault. We really are dicks some times… However, I take minor offense at the "ego" bit… I don’t call myself an Ablative Meatshield for nothin’…
